This is a call for everyone who attends, participates, and enjoys the County Fair and the facilities they provide. The Columbia County 4-H Youth Development Program will come together and show our appreciation during a Fairgrounds Clean-Up Day on Saturday, May 11th. This facility is available for 4-H activities during the year, and our contribution is that we provide people-power for a spring clean-up. We will start at 8 am and the Fair Board will serve us lunch at 11:30 am – please RSVP so we can give a head count for lunch. The majority of the work will be to spread and pack the clay that is being added to the floor of each barn. We will also be moving some of the small animal barn equipment into the beef barn for Youth Fair. Again, please RSVP so that the Fair Board will know how many to prepare for. Also look for a clip board to “sign-in” on the day of the event. There will be a couple of clip boards, so you just need to locate and sign in on ONE of them.
